After careful consideration while monitoring the weather and listening to road reports, the Marshall County School District will close April 3, 2025. Please stay safe.
Due to the two hour delay schedule for all MCSD schools on Thursday April, 3, 2025 school arrival will be delayed by two hours. This means doors will open to students at 9:10. Please do not arrive at the school to drop students off until at least 9:10. All bus routes will pick up exactly two hours later than usual. This means students who are typically picked up at 6:30 will be picked up at 8:30. Students who are typically picked up at 6:45 will be picked up at 8:45.
All Marshall County Schools, other than H.W. Byers, will operate on a 2 hour delay on April 3, 2025. We will continue to monitor the weather and make a different decision if necessary. H.W. Byers will be closed today.

Due to the confidence level for severe weather moving into our area at dismissal time, the Marshall County School District will dismiss school at 1:00 p.m. on March 4, 2025. As always, we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause but we feel this is a necessary precaution for the safety of our students.

The Marshall County School District will be open and operating on a normal schedule Friday, February 21, 2025.
Due to road conditions in many areas of the district, Marshall County Schools will be closed Thursday, February 20, 2025. We realize that many of the roads have cleared, but the safety of our students and staff are the number one priority.
Due to the strong possibility of inclement weather, the Marshall County School District will be closed Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Due to an ongoing situation involving the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, the 2500 block of Hwy 309 South is currently shut down in both directions. This will impact bus pickup and student arrival in these areas of the Byhalia community.
