Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Section 1112(e)(1)(A-B), parents and guardians of students attending a Title I school have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teachers and paraprofessionals. Parents also have the right to receive information about their child's achievement and academic growth on applicable state assessments.
