We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to get students home before the severe weather moves in. The line of storms coming in has produced tornadoes in other states and we want students home before those storms arrive into our area.

The Marshall County School District is aware of a perceived threat to Byhalia High School on March 31, 2023 that has been shared with students and community members. Administration and School Resource Officers have vetted the threat, and found there is no current threat, including no weapon. We understand and share concerns for the safety of our students and make it a top priority within our schools and district.

BMS 7th graders had a great trip earlier this week to Northwest as a reward for their performance on the 2021-2022 MAAP state test.
Due to the current power outage, the phone system is not working at all schools in the Marshall County School District.

BMS 6th graders visited Northwest Community College as reward for their performance on their 2022 MAAP test. Students got to tour the campus and witness some of the great programs Northwest has available.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we are postponing tonight's Bilingual Night. We will post an update with a new date as soon as we have more information.
